سيتم منح جوائز تصل إلى 30 ألف يورو في عام 2022.

Heidelberg Materials and more than 100 guests celebrated the seven winning teams of the fifth edition of the Quarry Life Award in Brussels. Building on the award, Heidelberg Materials develops best practices for quarry management which are then applied on a global scale, amongst others supporting the company’s contribution to the EU restoration agenda.
After reading more than 50 Final Reports, the Jurors met virtually today (23 September) to discuss the results.

In more than 600 active quarries worldwide Heidelberg Materials and its subsidiaries are committed to protecting and enhancing nature during and after extraction and promoting a high diversity of local flora and fauna. The company established the Quarry Life Award in 2012.
We are going to follow the story of the Long-winged buzzard pair, who nests at the Aït Baha quarry. This year it was successful, and two chicks hatched and fledged. On 17 June 2022, the two young raptors are still around the nest, waiting for a careless lizard or a small rodent that wanders away from its burrow.

اقرأ المزيدAfter two weeks, the North African buzzard parents are still incubating. A parent remained deep in the nest within the cliff and there was no sign of any chicks yet. The second parent perched at various vantage points within a few metres of the nest. With a little luck, the chicks will appear at the end of April. The suspense still remains!
